" I am finally getting my chance to pursue my love of film after a checkered adulthood of other endeavors. I grew up in the Midwest but found my home and tribe in San Francisco. My stories all feature strong female characters, their sometimes marginalized lives and the historical challenges of being LGBTQ+ in America. In addition to writing, I have produced and directed my own films as well as worked on a number of independent short film and pilot projects as production assistant, script supervisor and assistant director."
